New tool launched to help agents improve digital viewings

A new free training tool that aims to help estate and letting agents improve their digital viewing skills has been launched by Holofy Spaces.

The new platform from the video tours provider offers agents guidance on the basic dos and don’ts of video tours, with a view to helping them become more comfortable with conducting property viewings online.

The new online tool, designed to help make it easier for estate and letting agents to film video tours of properties and instantly embed them in property portal and website listings, is split into three modules: digital viewings basic, digital viewings advanced and digital viewings expert.

Eduard Cristea, co-founder of Holofy Spaces, said: “When digital viewings are created and carried out to a high standard, they can save agents a serious amount of time and money.”

Agents using the app can potentially create video tours in 20 minutes which are then instantly available for sharing and embedding, according to Cristea.

“With more agents creating video tours than ever before, the launch of our academy provides free guidance on how they can use the technology to its maximum potential,” he added.

A case of a digital provider who has an idea but no idea of how the industry can use it or more importantly should never use it and the problems that arise.

All looks very nice on a modern, glossy show house in an IT advert. Try using it in real life on majority of family homes and you will turn your customers off.

Estate agency advertising is fundamentally a carrot to gain interest. These new IT ideas are trying to sell the property, that is not what it is about.
