Knight Frank instructed on major west London scheme

Knight Frank has been appointed by housing association Catalyst as their global sales agents on the next phase of Portobello Square, a large-scale regeneration and remodelling project on Portobello Road, Notting Hill.

The pitch process was led by Emma Fletcher-Brewer, Victoria Fenton and John Wood receiving confirmation of the instruction within a few hours.

Once completed in 2023, Portobello Square, which occupies a prime spot at the Ladbroke Grove end of Portobello Road and Golborne Road, will deliver around 1,000 mixed tenure new homes for social rent, private sale, and shared ownership.

As well as new private homes and social housing, retail units have been built, all bounded by a garden square.

Almost all the apartments, 96 out of the total of 110 units, will feature views out over either Portobello Road or the new Athlone Park which is a two-acre space completing in line with this phase.

Completions are due to take place from 2023 and a Knight Frank marketing suite is launching on Portobello Road this month.

A selection of modern one- and two-bedroom flats are available from £640,000 now.
