Fine & Country adds further license to London network

Fine & Country has added a further license to its London network.

Directors Andre Neves and Roger Sleight of Churchill and Mathesons have taken on the brand to elevate their already existing sales offering in the Harrow and Pinner areas.

Fine & Country Harrow and Pinner will operate as a virtual office for the first year, with prospects to open a physical office once established in the area. The team believe that with an area of London so large, they will benefit from a huge uptake even in the first 12-months.

Neves said: “The property market in Harrow and Pinner and the surrounding area is very active. The market has stayed pretty balanced, even over the turbulence of the last few months and years – typical of a London market.”

Sleight added: “With our core brand, we have the experience already of selling and letting in the area, celebrating 40 years of trading next year – a milestone we are very proud of. We love that there is a strong community and village feel within this multicultural epicentre we operate in. The area is suburban, whilst offering excellent schools and transport links to central London.”

Andrew Fisher, non-executive director and chair of Rightmove, agrees M&S position 

Andrew Fisher, non-executive director and Chair of Rightmove, will be appointed senior independent director of Marks and Spencer Group plc, with effect from 31 December 2022.

He informed Rightmove of his decision yesterday.

Fisher has been a non-executive director at M&S since December 2015 and will continue to chair its remuneration committee.

iamproperty looking for new recruits 

iamproperty is kicking off 2023 with a recruitment drive, creating over 20 opportunities for people to join the auction sector.

The company says it is on the lookout for a new cohort of auction specialists to join the team and help meet rising demand thanks to iamproperty’s Partner Agent network of over 5,000 agents.

The new auction specialists will play a key role in the auction journey, by supporting estate agents to win instructions, push through sales. . The role will include educating buyers and sellers on the auction process when it is the best route for them, working in partnership with agents to reach potential buyers and managing the auction process.

Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK as iamproperty accept remote working. Applications are open now and the new cohorts will start in January and February.

Beginning with a training programme, the candidates will take part in a two-week education journey. Once training has been completed, the specialists will work alongside an experienced team to help to develop them into successful auction dpecialists, before working with their own agents, buyers and sellers.
