Spring has hired James Hogan from Leaders Romans Group to help lead its agency partnerships.
The residential home buying service, which launched recently, has recruited Hogan as its new head of partnerships.
Hogan brings over 15 years’ experience and will focus on creating a strong partnership network of agents who can utilise the Spring service to unlock sales and fix complex chains.
At Leaders Roman Group, Hogan was group corporate director, responsible for leading all corporate client business development and he created.
He also launched and then ran the LRG part exchange and assisted sales department, growing the business from start-up to a run-rate of over £150,000 per month in less than two years.
Previous roles include those at Move with Us and Spicerhaart Land and New Homes, where he managed a team servicing 92 estate agent offices and ran the Part Exchange department. He was also an area sales manager for Countrywide PLC.
Hogan commented: “This is a tremendous opportunity to bring Spring’s industry-leading fully-funded part exchange and house buying service to agency teams throughout the UK. Spring sales will be an essential tool for agents, asset managers and new-homes teams in the marketplace, helping to drive quality instructions and sales rates, drastically reducing exchange and completion times and boosting revenue.”
Spring, which re-launched from National Property Trade in November 2020, has circa £300m in annual home buying capacity, believed to be one of the highest for a business of this type.
Its partnership work enables estate agents to offer the Spring service to their own customers, with Spring acting as the property purchaser and taking on full responsibility for the sale and onward transaction, for which it can instruct its partners.
Cormac Henderson, CEO of Spring, said “James is the perfect fit for Spring. His leadership and business development expertise within branch and corporate agency, asset management, part exchange and new homes will enable the business to penetrate new channels, and drive growth in the distribution of the Spring brand.”
