Can AI software save agents time and money?

Artificial intelligence (AI) platform ChatGPT can provide agents with a quick and efficient way of completing tasks for text generation, question answering, translation and various forms of analysis, according to Property Webmasters.

The website and marketing solutions provider believes the software can save agents time and money, allowing them to focus more time on other key aspects of their role.

Jamie Arthur, CEO of Property Webmasters, explained: “ChatGPT stands for Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer and is software that automatically generates text in human form.

“In the estate agency world, ChatGPT can be used to enhance customer service by providing 24/7 support and response to queries. It can be used as a lead generation tool to engage with potential clients, gather information and qualify leads.”

Arthur adds that ChatGPT can be used to generate articles, blog posts and other marketing content and can also gather and analyse data on property prices, market trends and consumer behaviour.

“Estate agents can use ChatGPT to build chatbots that can assist with tasks such as property searches, scheduling viewings and providing property information,” said Arthur. “It can also be used to build virtual assistants that automatically automate routine tasks such as data entry, appointment scheduling and email management.”

According to Arthur, ChatGPT represents a “significant advancement” in the field of natural language processing and its potential applications are virtually limitless. “The benefits for agents can be significant,” he said.

Property Webmasters has produced a free guide for estate agents entitled Top Five ChatGPT Prompts for Estate Agents, which can be downloaded from the resources section of their website.

I’m genuinely shocked people aren’t using it, I thought it was the norm now. I can get a personalised email, which is cohearent and more elequent faster than I ever could. Those not using are backwards and not utilising tech to be more time efficant.

I have used some of the AI bots when contacting agents

      They are utterly useless

ChatGPT has saved hours and hours on property descriptions. Appreciate people will say it’s lazy etc, but you can’t deny it is a great tool for agents. If you use it just to create a foundation to work from and amend you will not go far wrong.

Firstly, it’s not AI.  It is Machine Learning. It sounds like AI but it isn’t. None of the stuff that is called AI today is that. Don’t get sold on the sales hype.

If a property lister cannot cobble together a sensible, interesting description of a property that (please, dear god!) doesn’t start with “A N Other Estate Agents are pleased to bring to the market…” then I suppose that using a service that makes it up for you is going to be better than the alternative.

    But…

When everyone is doing it, you know who’s going to really stand out?

It’s going to be the one’s who aren’t.

    English lessons anyone?
