Strutt & Parker’s Country House department announces two new appointments
Strutt & Parker has announced the appointment of two new associates to its National Country House department, based in Chelsea.
Alice Luxmoore-Styles and Annabel Blackett both join the company, working alongside the existing members of the team, and the National Estates and Farms Agency department.
Luxmoore-Styles began her estate agency career at Strutt & Parker in 2018 within the firm’s Sloane Street office. She moves over to the Country department from her previous role in the Fulham office.
Luxmoore-Styles will be covering Kent, East Sussex and West Sussex, supporting the regional network of offices in the sale of prime country houses.
Blackett, a qualified chartered surveyor, began her property career as a graduate at Strutt & Parker in 2014 after interning at the consultancy in the previous year. Prior to her current appointment, she worked within Knight Frank’s National Farms and Estates Sales team.
In her return to Strutt & Parker, Blackett will be supporting prime country house sales across Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, markets she has a good track record in from her previous position.
Oliver Custance Baker, head of the National Country House department at Strutt & Parker said: “We’re committed to growing this team, and to nurture talent in a market that’s undergone big changes in the last couple of years. In doing so we are able to provide over and above the level of service that our clients, both old and new, expect.
“Alice and Annabel are superb additions and testament to the strength of Strutt & Parker’s commitment to building some of the best young agents this industry has attracted.”
Telford Homes appoints Anne Kavanagh as next CEO
Telford Homes has appointed Anne Kavanagh as its next chief executive.
Kavanagh, who is currently Patrizia’s chief investment officer, will assume her role with the housebuilder at the end of July, taking over from Jon Di-Stefano who announced his intention to step down late last year. He has been CEO since 2011.
In addition to the CIO role at Patrizia, Kavanagh served as board member, where, under her leadership, she oversaw key acquisitions and all investment activities for Patrizia, including fund management strategies.
Prior to joining Patrizia in 2017, Kavanagh held leadership roles at AXA Real Assets, Lazard, Cambridge Place Investment Management and JLL.
Kavanagh is a trustee of the Urban Land Institute and sits on the organisation’s global board. She also serves on the advisory board of Cambridge University’s master’s degree in Real Estate Finance.
David Neuman, the head of Trammell Crow Company’s European operations, which owns Telford Homes, said: “Our vision is to continue delivering first-class sustainable Build-to-Rent homes throughout London and expanding our footprint geographically, using our unique ability to transform spaces into sustainable communities,” Neuman said.
Kavanagh commented: ”With one of the most impressive track records in sustainability among UK housebuilders, Telford Homes is a trailblazer in London’s multifamily Build to Rent developer sector.
“I look forward to leading a great company with a strong pipeline of projects with an ambitious and motivated team and the backing of Trammell Crow Company.”
